Some of you might be wondering why SC 2.0 has not been released yet, in spite of what was said a few months ago. Some of you may also consider that given the complete lack of news these last few months, the project would eventually be dead. The answer is clearly no, and shadowcircle 2.0 is still planned.
To be completely honest, laziness is no stranger to this situation. But we can take in consideration another important fact.
1 year...it makes 1 year now that the shadow circle project has been started. At that time i wasn't ever thinking that i would spend so much time on it, and that it would evolve in what it is now. I had so much good time doing it that the journey will of course continue. Also an easter surprise is going to be made on Monday, so stay tuned !
When we made the roadmap for the second version of shadowcircle, we deeply though "oh, we will be way late for sure". But as surprising as it may be, this is not the case. We expected a first release for mid february, and you'll have it ;). a Few minor modifications have been done to the spec but nothing huge. Again here are the main 2.0 features: lucid lynx fork ( no more bt ) , xfce 4.6, firefox 3.5, OpenVAS 3, metasploit 3.4, nmap 5...
